As you probably all know by now, after all the waiting and uncertainty, the Government has finally given the go-ahead for driving instruction to resume from 4th July! All the safety measures I had started implementing a few weeks ago will still apply for the foreseeable future, and we all know why (click here for that bulletin).
For those of you who want to resume straight away, if you are at or close to test standard, then bear in mind that the test system will have a massive backlog so will be disrupted for some time. I expect that 'fresh' test dates won't be bookable for at least a couple of months. Because of this it may be better to have top-up lessons every 2 weeks, but if you want weekly lessons to keep on top form, that's fine too, of course.
For those lower down the learning ladder, if I can fit you in, you can have as many lessons as you want! I will also be able to schedule new starters from about w/c 27th July, so spread the word.
Please note that I won't be working from 13th to 20th July, but I hope we'll all be keen and ready to beat that winding path back to normality and enjoy what remains of summer in the process. I'll be in touch soon to plan lessons, but feel free to text me when you're available in w/c 6th July.
